Our Operations organization is vital for delivering competitive, accurate, and customer-focused solutions to our customers. We are now looking for a Quoting Excellence Lead to join our corporate Operations team at Nefab.

As Quoting Excellence Lead, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates for customer packaging solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring pricing excellence by analyzing technical documentation, developing cost models, and driving continuous improvement in quotation turnaround and responsiveness. Your work will directly support profitable growth and high customer satisfaction.

You will be part of the Operations organization and collaborate closely with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, and Operations teams across regions. In this role, you will:

  • Receive RFQs, project specifications, and related documents to define scope of work and requirements
  • Prepare detailed project scopes with itemized cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and supplier quotes
  • Drive continuous improvement in quotation speed, quality, and responsiveness
  • Develop KPIs that align quotation lead times with market expectations
  • Influence stakeholders and build consensus on cross-regional and complex projects
  • Analyze project risks and recommend cost-effective or value-engineered alternatives
  • Develop quick and scalable cost models to support rapid customer response
  • Build and maintain a database of historical cost data for future estimating
  • Track and update cost changes during project execution to support forecasting and budget control
  • Ensure all estimating documentation is accurate, complete, and stored according to company processes

This position is located in the Dallas, TX, area, but is flexible for the right candidate. This position will report to the Order Integration Manager.

YOUR PROFILE

To be successful in this role, you bring strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related costing field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimating packaging solutions within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to set quoting standards across multiple functions, sub-regions, and competing priorities
  • Proficiency in ERP-based estimating tools or cost models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking mindset
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities
  • Solid financial and technical acumen
  • Fluent in English (Spanish is an added asset)
