Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in non-automotive sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic plans to expand our market presence. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and foster long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted industries through market research and networking.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations to secure new contracts and expand existing accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities or threats.

Skills

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within non-automotive industries.
  • Strong strategic planning abilities to develop actionable growth initiatives.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.
  • Effective project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging clients and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles to support lead generation efforts.
  • Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into strategic actions.

Minimum Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, sales, or related field, packaging a strong plus.
  • Five or more years of business development experience
  • Technical sales experience is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of building new relationships and achieving sales goals
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills
  • Industrial, Agricultural, Heavy Equipment and Healthcare segment experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with plastics packaging & blueprint reading is a plus.
  • Must be an independent, proactive, and self-motivated person who will offer exceptional service to our customers
