The Senior Sourcing Manager – Metal and Foam will lead end-to-end sourcing operations. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality and cost-effective packaging solutions through strategic sourcing and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in sourcing metal and foam materials at scale, and the ability to develop and execute localized sourcing strategies aligned with global business objectives.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Lead sourcing operations for metal and foam materials, from supplier research and qualification to negotiation and final agreement.
  • Analyze company spending and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement local sourcing strategies aligned with the company's and the Nefab Group’s long-term goals.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimization programs to improve total process efficiency.
  • Define and monitor local KPIs to evaluate sourcing performance and efficiency.
  • Forecast future volumes, products, materials, and supplier portfolio needs based on customer and market insights.
  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to deliver added value to end customers.
  • Conduct cost, risk, and scenario analyses, including benchmarking and supplier evaluations.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of cost structures for different materials.
  • Provide sourcing support during early stages of customer projects and sales processes.
  • Collaborate and share supplier insights with global sourcing, sales, and engineering teams.
  • Report on market trends, pricing, material shortages, and other significant industry developments.
  • Ensure supply chain practices comply with corporate social responsibility, code of conduct, and group values.
  • Promote environmentally friendly sourcing solutions wherever feasible.
  • Ensure all sourced goods comply with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., banned or restricted substances).
  • Follow established policies and procedures to ensure consistent implementation of local and global sourcing strategies.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sourcing large volumes of metal and foam materials.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, forecast needs, and make strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with global and local compliance regulations in sourcing and procurement.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of environmentally sustainable sourcing practices is a plus.
